Global launch: WHO curriculum guide for community health workers

15 April 2026 13:30 – 14:45 UTC Time

WHO recently has published two new resources - the Global curriculum guide for community health workers and a step by step guide for integration of community health worker programmes in health systems. These tools can support ministries of health and their partners to strengthen their primary health care programmes by enhancing competency based education for community health workers (CHWs) and by identifying the priority actions and sequence  for CHW programme integration. Join us for an overview of the new resources, along with insights from government representatives and partners on efforts to strengthen CHW programming in support of broader health systems strengthening.

Join us on 15 April 2026 from 13:30-14:45 CEST for an overview of the new resources, along with insights from government representatives and partners on efforts to strengthen CHW programming in support of broader health systems strengthening.
