Climate Change and Health
WHO has been working on climate change and health for over 25 years - advocating, collecting evidence and providing comprehensive support to countries in dealing with health effects of climate change.

Youth Partnerships

In 2022, the WHO Youth Council was established as a WHO network for stakeholders to amplify the voices and experiences of young people, and to harness and expand their expertise, energy and ideas to promote public health.

Recognising that young people are equal partners in transforming both the global health and climate change movements, the Youth Council’s Climate Change and Health Working Group brings together young people with health and climate expertise, to connect the dots between the various activities in the health and environment landscape and strengthen youth engagement efforts to amplify the work of the WHO.

This page is dedicated to showcasing the work undertaken in collaboration with the WHO Youth Council in a bid to strengthen youth engagement throughout the Climate Change and Health team's core workstreams.
